I am an educator and a writer currently based in Dallas, Texas. I earned my Ph.D. in English from Duke University. I have taught classes on literature and writing for the Duke English Department, the Thompson Writing Program, Duke Talent Identification Program, and Durham Academy. While at Duke, I have also earned certificates in Feminist Studies and College Teaching. By nature I am a life-long learner. I spend a lot of my free time knitting and hiking with my wife and our dog pal.
In 2018, I joined the Upper School English department at Greenhill School in Addison, Texas.
